Immune Infrastructure for Oncology

Novastra Therapeutics is building the layer underneath the immune system:

the layer that decides what the immune system fights.

About Novastra

Novastra Therapeutics is a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is developing XIRT™, Systematic Immune Reprogramming Therapy, a first-in-class category of cancer immunotherapy, on its proprietary OmniAntigen™ Platform.

XIRT™ is an upstream immune primer designed to preserve the tumor's complete antigen repertoire and generate the tumor-specific T cells that checkpoint and cellular franchises presuppose but cannot create on their own.

Reprogramming the Immune System to Combat Solid Tumors.

What We Are Building

A New Therapeutic Category

XIRT™ is designed to rebuild antigen visibility and immune priming upstream of existing oncology therapies.

A Programmable Platform

The OmniAntigen™ Platform combines whole-tumor antigen preservation with localized cGAS-STING activation. One platform supports both ex vivo XIRT™-Cell programs and the off-the-shelf XIRT™-InSitu format.

A Multi-Program Pipeline

Novastra is advancing three lead programs, including the world's first XIRT™ program in pediatric oncology, across advanced checkpoint-refractory melanoma, high-risk pediatric neuroblastoma, and in situ combination oncology, with additional solid-tumor indications under exploration.

From Foundational Science to Human Evaluation

The platform builds on a decade of peer-reviewed work in supramolecular engineering and cell-surface modification. That foundation has progressed into active human evaluation through OAP-101, an upstream immune primer in an investigator-initiated Phase 1 proof-of-concept study in advanced, checkpoint-refractory melanoma.

In parallel, Novastra is driving a lead US IND program toward IND-enabling studies, expanding its platform pipeline, and building a multi-jurisdiction patent portfolio across its core technologies.

One scientific foundation. Multiple programs. A path toward global development.

Our Purpose

We founded Novastra to move beyond treating cancer lesion by lesion. Our goal is to reprogram the patient's immune response at the systems level, turning each patient's own tumor into the source of a broad, patient-specific immune response.

We are building for patients whose tumors remain invisible to the immune system and whose disease has progressed despite available treatment.

Patients first. Scientific rigor always. Translation by design.

Built in Cambridge
